Be Mine design is another homage to vintage cookie cutters of the 1940's-50's era and the sugar cookies that my gram decorated so beautifully and then so generously distributed to the neighborhood and our school.
Designs are included for both a right hand and a left hand mitt. The crosshatch quilting is completed in the hoop. The tops and bottoms of each mitt are stitched separately, then pieced together after completing the embroidery. The lining is then added and the top finished with binding.
Step by step directions, with pictures for each step, are included, as well as many machine embroidery tips for the machine embroidery and the construction of the mitts. PDF templates are included for cutting the front, back mitt, the mitt fabric, lining, batting and Insul-Bright pieces.
