1589E-A-Sugard Cookie Oven Mitt-Lrg design is another homage to vintage cookie cutters of the 1940's-50's era and to the "Night Before Christmas" poem, that is so beloved. Designs are included for both a right hand mitt and a left hand mitt. The tops and bottoms of each mitt are stitched separately, then pieced together after completing the embroidery. The lining is then added and the top finished with a double binding.

Step by step directions, with pictures for each step, are included, as well as many machine embroidery tips. PDF templates are included for cutting the fabrics for the front, back mitt, the mitt lining and for the Insul-Bright & batting mitt pieces.

Smaller size mitts are in progress, including a child's size. I can just picture a mother and her children, decked out in these sugar cookie oven mitts when baking cookies together. Add the matching apron, and we have a perfect picture and priceless memories to enjoy forever.
