This design is a STS (stitch-color-stitch) design. The areas to color stitch first, like a pumpkin, sunflower or watermelon. Then you color with your choice of inks, paints, markers, crayons, etc. like you would in a color book. Replace the hoop and finish the embroidery. These can be stitched on anything, but were originally created to stitch on balsa wood, and a PDF of the instructions are included.
