This beautiful patriotic quilt block design, In the Hoop, is a very fun machine embroidery project. There are 4 outer blocks, each with a separate design, with stars all positioned to point north for that all important symmetrical look. The four blocks are joined to a center, square block to complete the quilt block.

The finished block size is 7.75 x 7.75. The block is perfect, with binding added to make a mini wall hanging or you can make a lovely table runner, table mat or other projects by adding coordinating blocks. There are four, free stipple quilt block designs included, with sizes corresponding to the pieced quilt block designs. See photo samples.

Though this is a somewhat advanced project, detailed, step-by-step directions, with photos and tips for each step, a color chart and cutting templates are included with the design to help your stitch out and assemble the quilt block.
